I spoke to MS about it when I first saw it and they referred me to an article that basically affected *any* update of the IE software..althought there was no definitive answer and I've forgotten the Q number.

If I remember correctly, sometimes if this occurs if there is "stuff" in the header or above the <html> tag... Its been such a long time since I encountered this personally that I forget what the exact cause is, but basically its malformed HTML at the head of the page...
