Great idea, I would like to see it in action. I sicked our J2EE certified developer on this very project. What he came back with is a solid 'I dunno'.
To date, we have attempted to rebuild the connectors to be MX compliant three times and each time we have ended up with something worse than the ones that come with ArcIMS. Please tell me someone has made some progress on this... my client is really sold on the whole MX thing and wants to move the product up within the next six months. Right now, that is completely unfeasible unless we get something that works.
