If you go to the archives and do a search on BlueDragon you'll find the threads as well as their original threads. http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=messages&threadid=176 76&forumid=4 http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=messages&threadid=176 68&forumid=4 http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=messages&threadid=176 79&forumid=4 http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=messages&threadid=177 61&forumid=4 http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=messages&threadid=176 04&forumid=4 Despite what Matt says, I do not remove threads from the archives and when I ban a thread there is a VERY good reason for it. The reason is that it is off topic to this list. Matt seems to have a major problem with the concept of off topic posts and of me being any sort of moderator and trying to control them. Please forgive my seeming so upset but the accusations I'm hearing from matt have no basis in reality and I've put up with his BS for a loooong time. I have not banned him because he has some small technical use to the community but he is also one of the most prolific posters of off topic material to the list. As for what he said about the threads dying on other lists, it may be because one of the main people arguing just doesn't want to make the move with the thread. That person should look at their own motives for not following the thread rather than accusing. As you can see from the bluedragon list, no one decided to continue the thread: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=threads&forumid=26 As you can see from the CF-Partners list, some people continued the thread but without the ones looking for trouble (matt), it died on its own: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=threads&forumid=9&max rows=20
CF-Partners will be retired and a new list called macromedia-talk will be put into place for all of the OT posts from CF-Talk about macromedia. This is an organizational thing along the same lines as the bluedragon list. No sinister motives, just getting CF-Talk back on track. > matt, > > i missed that post and can't seem to find it in the archives. if you > have it handy, can you send the link to me or let me know what day it > was made. > > mike chambers > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Matt Liotta [mailto:mliotta@;r337.com] > > Sent: Wednesday, October 30, 2002 7:10 PM > > To: CF-Talk > > Subject: RE: OT:Yahoo moving to PHP > > > > > > Some have suggested that Macromedia asked Michael to stop the > > thread to > > which you refer as well as the one on BlueDragon.
