Hi all - Trying to run the CFMX updater on a Linux installation - this is a new install of MX, and running the updater, it dies with this error message:
---------- # ./cfmx_updater_linux.bin Preparing to install... Extracting the JRE from the installer archive... Unpacking the JRE... Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive... Configuring the installer for this system's environment... Launching installer... Error: can't find libjava.so. ---------- Now libjava.so is most certainly there, it's exactly where the MX install put it: /opt/coldfusionmx/jre/lib/i386/libjava.so A reinstallation didn't help, so I'm stumped. Should I install the most up-to-date JRE from Sun? Has anyone else had anything remotely like this show up? Does the installer have a conf file anywhere? Why does "monosyllabic" have 5 syllables? Thanks, - Jim ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=4 FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm
