Personally, I can't wait to dig into this a bit more. For instance: some sort of customizable, basic business rule engine for a CF eCommerce or CMS app. Recently found some benchmarks that may be of interest to others, as well: http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-04-2002/jw-0405-scripts_p.html So I guess if you want rock solid performance, Jython or TCL scripts would be your best bet.
