In mySQL you need to use Joins.
<CFQUERY Name="GetUnit" Datasource="#DSN#">
Select *
FROM Units LEFT JOIN Clients
ON Units.UnitID = Clients.UnitID
WHERE Units.UnitID = #App_ClientID#
</CFQUERY>
