Sean, thanks for the links!

Despite of the age of this benchmark, I think one thing didn't changed since than: 
Linux still missing a better 
support for Java (in comparison with Windows and SunOS).

I still have doubts regarding the two versions of JVM: Client and Server. Which should 
I use in a production 
environment? "Server" sounds obvious for me.... but the CFMX server set the "Client" 
version as it's default, 
why? Macromedia folks, any clues? Should I left the JVM running in the "Client" or 
"Server"?

I did some fairly tests and I didn't noticed any great differences between the two 
(both handles traffic, are stable 
and - under low traffic - has the same performance) but the "Server" version scale 
better, responding better 
under heavy traffic.

PS: I'm using the 1.4.1_01 version without problems.
