Ditto on Efflare's CFX_ImageCR.  We use it on a client's high volume news
site that uses it as a central component of its daily functioning, and we
really beat the hell out of it.  The clarity of even its most highly
compressed images is amazing.  These guys really know their stuff.

If you're doing _anything_ with imaging and ColdFusion, go to efflare.com as
your first stop.
