Have you scheduled a really, really simple task that you will know ran? (like a single web page load you can search through your logs for)
Get rid of all the complex variables and see if it runs at all. If it works, slowly add complexity write a txt file saying "Hello world" add a couple of lines of your real program in at a time, and see if it still works. Just some thoughts.
