Have you tried GNU Emacs? http://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/emacs.html
It is a highly customizable editor which I'm certain people have written plenty of CFMX extensions for. If you are using RedHat, it will already be installed. I'm also a big fan of Vim (Vi Improved) on Unix systems, and I know it has syntax files for CFMX. That is probably also already installed.
