Instead of using CF to insert the current date, you can use the Access SQL version, which I believe is "Now()". INSERT INTO yourTable ( theDate ) VALUES ( Now() ) I haven't done it in Access in a while and each database has its own version (even SQL Server's is different from Access -- go figure) but it should be in the Access help file.
