Avoiding your question, but I have often found waiting until the last possible minute when buying licenses is the way to go. I know it saved us from buying a CFMX enterprise license we didn't need, when late in development we moved to CFMX for J2EE. In fact, I seem to recall Sean's project at Macromedia starting development on CFMX enterprise and now moving to CFMX for J2EE. The very fact that Macromedia's own development team experienced the situation you now find yourself in is very telling.
