Runs beautifully on Mac OSX, Linux and Windows. I've always hated Swing applications myself because they're typically slow, but this one is very well written. It's been mentioned quite a bit lately in Java Developer's Journal and some other publications. It's really a great programming tool - and they just released a new version of the FTP plugin that supports SFTP over SSH2!
The jEdit community is almost as active as the CF Community here and it's updated and patched VERY often. Slava Pestov, the main author of jEdit, is a fabulous programmer and I think I heard someplace that he's only 18. I love HomeSite/Studio, but I highly recommend you take a look at jEdit - especially if you're using Mac or Linux. How does it perform though? Java GUI's have always been a bit sluggish as well as non-intuitive in my experience. -- jon mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Tuesday, February 4, 2003, 6:42:28 PM, you wrote: MB> There is some information here about using jEdit with ColdFusion.
