I believe that CFMX includes a type 4 driver for MySQL, but I'm not 100% sure. It would surprise me if they didn't, with CF supposedly positioned for large-scale applications. That being said, it might not be the _best_ MySQL driver available, although I've not had any problems with it speedwise.
