Check out the June ColdFusion Developers Journal. There is a pretty good
article on how to set up a client var database storage mechanism for
clustered servers written by Marc Funaro.

Subject: ColdFusion and clustering

Regarding clustering and coldfusion specifically, I was thinking of a
Clustering solution that would have 2 web and cold fusion servers talking to
a single SQL 7 database server. These 2 web servers would also be taking
their CFID's and CFTOKEN's from the database server (I would set up the
datasources to point to a common database).

Has anybody done something like that before? Are their problems with server
consistency? If this could be done correctly, it would be a piece of cake
to maintain application consistency across servers. Anyways a penny for
everyone's thoughts and TIA.
