I am using verity to do searches on a 4.5 cfml server. I have indexed a number of fields in the database so I am using custom type indexing. A very strange issue I am having is that I do a search for keyword "IBM" and I am getting result sets back that don't contain IBM at all, I am however getting back things like UMC which the only relation I can see is that they are both acronyms. Does anyone know why verity would be finding things like this in the index when I clearly specified something completely different? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ray Bujarski
