The error is occuring because the </cfform> tag exists outside the
<cfif></cfif> tags. In other words, you have things incorrectly nested. It
would be better do something like this:
<cfform action="yourpage.cfm<cfif
isdefined("url.yourvariable")>?variable=#url.yourvariable#</cfif>"
method="post">
