Typically speaking, when you use "group" in a query output, it's to do
something like this:
<cfoutput group="type">
#type#
<cfoutput>#title#, #author# - #byline#<br></cfoutput>
</cfoutput>

(See the nested cfoutputs? If you don't include the inner one, you'll only
get the first title, etc of the group.)

I'm not sure if you can use groups in cfmail, though. I've never tried it.

BTW, "date" is a reserved word in access, and you should change it to
something else, like "printdate." Text probably is, too. Try something like
"storytext." It's not what's causing your problem here, but it'll cause your
next string o' probs.

Also, when you really only need a few fields, it's best to explicitly
request them in your sql, instead of using *.

Hope that helps.
