Although the chances of session variables getting crossed are pretty slim in
CFMX, it is still good practice to lock them.

Subject: session/client variables 101

Hello, I am implementing session & client variables for the first time (on
a job/resume posting site). This is in a shared hosting environment. The
server uses CFMX

Based on recent postings I've read, it appears locking of session variables
is no longer necessary in the CFMX server environment .... Is this true?

TIA
