always had a lot of trouble with it amongst various clients. It's a shame
too, because it is handy tool. Actually, I would like to use it on an
upcoming flash project (since it does not sound like there is an equal in
FlashMX) and likley will have it in a pop up window. Any reason you think
that wouldn't work?
I'm also curious about your success with compatibility across browsers etc,
or do you have control of that for your app?
BTW, I use the table applet from objectplanet for one of our apps. No
inline editing, but good for displaying large amounts of data. It can load
from an external file without refreshing the page, which works great for
next/back buttons. Cells can contain images and links. One of the really
cool features is that the bottom row, the "filter bar", can filter columns.
For example, you could type "open" in the status column and it would
dynamically filter the visible rows to match your criteria. You can filter
multiple columns at a time and even use wildcards and some basic operators,
ie. >100.
