CF cannot parse ASP. It will just treat it as plain text.

Hi everybody, Can somebody tell me why when I call an
asp file using the cfinclude tag, the browser renders
asp without parsing it when I view the source?
The asp code shows up in the source when I actually
expect it to parse the asp and display the results
returned by the asp in html.

here is the cfm code:

<cfinclude template="userdetails.asp">

asp code:

<%
  if ((session("user.loggedin") <> "TRUE"))
   Response.write "I want to see this on the browser"
   end if
%>
