Does anyone know of any way to work with word docs the way you can with RTFs in CF? I am attempting to take a word file, read it into a var with cfffile, change certain content inside (flagging the vars in the doc and changing values using the replace function), then writing the file again.
This works like a charm using RTFs, but with .DOCs the file seems to process, but then becomes unopenable. I need to have it be a word doc, because working with macros, they behave oddly in the RTF context.
Any ideas?
