Hi,
FORM is a structure in Cold Fusion. All structure
operations can be performed in the FORM structure,
except for StructCopy.
The following code:
<cfset LocalStruct = StructNew()>
<cfset LocalStruct.Name = "Joe">
<cfset LocalStruct.Company = "Allaire">
<CFSET FORM = StructCopy(LocalStruct)>
does not work....
The exact error message is:
"Cannot assign result to symbol FORM"
Why does it behave like this? One application of
changing the FORM structure would be to use it
directly in CFUPDATE, CFINSERT after modifying it.
Though there are other solutions to this, I would
prefer to change the FORM structure and then send it
to mycustom tag.
