I believe there are PLENTY of folks who use MySQL with CFMX, and a bunch
are on this list.

stay tuned, there will be an onslaught of supporters responding.  but
just to let you know, its possible.

Subject: mysql and cold fusion WAS: web hosting, sql 2000

thanks,

I have been under the assumption that cold fusion and mysql don't mix so
I've been looking for SQL 2000 when an access dB won't work.

I use php but much prefer CFMX.

For $16.95 a month you can get a 25 MB MySQL database at Crystal Tech
and then you can use phpMyAdmin. :)
