that lets me enter a lead, however if it doesn't get entered, its not
mission critical, I still have workflow that sends an email to the sales
team...thats all...its a luxury item not a necessary item.

afaik, that's all. there doesn't need to be anything between the
<cfcatch> block.
but wouldn't you want to be setting some variables to take the place of
those that didn't get passed in by the webservice? (just curious) :)
