Oops. Sorry. You're right. I didn't realise it was a Fusebox tag doing the
trick. Andrew's answer should do it for you.

For reference, the Fusebox tag is
        http://www.fusebox.org/files/tags/formurl2attributes.zip
and you should be able to cfinclude it at the top of your non-fusebox pages.
It will copy any form/url variables including search-engine friendly ones
into the Attributes scope.
