that the oldest file is 6/2. Apparently I average *exactly 1024 file saves
per day. Hmmm.... 1024=1KB I'm literally a machine!

WOOO! I think I figured it out.
I had auto-backup files on save. I disabled that and its saving super fast
now. Does that work for you?

I have the same freakin issues...its also much worse if its to a network
attached device...mapped drive, nas, etc.

I can't explain this. On my monster of a desktop (P4 3ghz, 4gb ram yada
yada) simply saving .cfm files in Homesite 5.2 to a local hard disk has
a 4-5 SECOND delay. It's driving me crazy. My age old routine of ctrl-s
alt-tab ctrl-r has changed to ctrl-s wait... curse.... wait.... alt-tab
ctrl-r
What the hell is going on? Any ideas? Saving the same file in notepad is
instant.
