Re: SEO Keywords, etc in Application.cfm? OT?

If you place the META tags in Application.cfm, and you visit any page on my site with a browser and "VIEW SOURCE", naturally they show up in the source code. Am I wrong to think that this means that spiders see these META tags on each and every page they visit on my site?
