I'm not sure why it works again (perhaps Gmail is working around it) but
Outlook can have it own security settings apart from IE.  Got to "Tools",
"Options" and the "Security" tab and you'll be able to set the security zone
that Outlook can use.  Mine currently works on "Restricted", but you might
try "Internet" (just for a minute!) to see if that's the problem.

I've also had problems with Norton Internet Security adding it's own filters
over email - if you're using a client-side firewall you might want to check
that out.

ive done this...but im getting this error that tells me that i dont
have cookies enabled?  i certainly do...its outlook 2003,  and when i
hit the try again button, it works perfectly...any ideas why?
