If the server is a Windows server, that information was stored within the
Windows registry (HKLM\SOFTWARE\Allaire\ColdFusion\CurrentVersion). To get
access to registry information from an inoperative Windows OS, you'll need
to access the registry hive files and open them from another machine (search
for "registry load hive" for more information on that).
