What Barney said is dead-on. I am a total zero on clusters, but isn't there a way -- outside of CF -- to handle sessions so they remain sticky despite the application? i.e. an external application of some sort. Would that be db-related?
Systems guys at that level usually aren't so ignorant so I'm wondering if he is taking something non-CF into account. And even there was such a thing in play, I can't see how proper locking practices would be mitigated in any meaningful way. -- --Matt Robertson-- President, Janitor MSB Designs, Inc. mysecretbase.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=36 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:183272 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
