No.. not crossbrowser, my answer was a little short with "yes" .. but I figured almost everyone knew it was possible so it should be fairly easy googable. IE5+ had certain vulnerabilities allowing javascript to access this information. I have used it a long time ago for a test case, but Microsoft broke that functionality in later versions.
Currently there is no way to read response headers with Javascript. You can however access specific vars like referrer, domain (also rewritable for iframe usage).
