Actually, both Session and Client variables are associated with specific
browsers. This is typically done automatically for you by the application
server, which will use cookies to associate that browser with the
appropriate data on the server.

You are correct. You can only store simple values within Client variables.
Of course, you can serialize complex data types into simple values using
WDDX or mechanisms of your own creation.
