I am not sure I understand. when you say wrap tag in UDF do you mean something
like;
<cffunction name="importfunc">
<cfimport taglib...>
</cfunction>
Then in the string do you mean;
<cfset mystring = 'this is some stuff' & importfunc() & 'some more stuff' >
Is that what you mean?
