Not sure but it works just like that, no converting needed. I was thinking that it would have to be date objects myself but hit that submit on accident and it worked so I havent fooled with it. The dates will be in a mm/dd/yyyy or m/d/yy or m/d/yy or mm/dd/yy format, not sure if that helps or not.
