I'm trying to open iexplore in the appserver with a template that contains the following:
<cfexecute name="C:\...\run_test.cmd" timeout="10"> </cfexecute> run_test.cmd has the following line in it: start iexplore.exe But I can't get it to open iexplore on the server. I also tried using a batch file but nothing. Although, both the command and batch files I created execute successfully when double clicking them on the actual server. I also read that programs cannot pop open on the server's desktop unless they are scheduled. Is this true? If so, would I have to create a schedule task on the fly to do this? Or is there an easier solution to all this?
