As far as I know, you can maintain your session across multiple domains, but 
the sites must be hosted on the same CF server, and you will need to append the 
#session.urltoken# to the url when transferring between domains.

eg. If a session is created on http://www.mysite.com, if you append 
#session.urltoken# to the end of the link that links to 
https://secure.mysite.com, then your session will be maintained across to the 
SSL site. If you're using cflocation to redirect, then you'll just need to set 
the 'addtoken' attribute to 'Yes'.
