It really does not take that much to "get" plum. I downloaded it yesterday and I installed it here on my local machine, and I had no problems and it was pretty easy to get running, adding new modules, etc..... I am actually going to recommend it to a non profit group I do some work for on the side. It is good for what it is worth, but you are not going to understand that unless you download it and install it, and take the time to try to understand what it does.
Now I am sure (100 percent positive) that I do not know all that it can do, and I will take a look at the docs more in the next week or two, but getting it up and running and understanding the basics is fairly easy.
