I'm still digging through the discussions on the ImageMagick site looking for information about sending output directly to variables. To be honest, I don't really care if I end up using ImageMagick as the means to extract the IPTC data. If there's some other way to do it in CF, such as reading the binary info directly, I'm open to suggestion. Regards, Warren L.
