I guess the main reason is "dumb ol' me" trying to tell a tenured Ph.D.
to use Flash.

Although XP is our main standard, we don't really push Flash out for
use, or any other helper applications for that matter.

Again, we can't control what the students may have on their computers.
There a few Linux people who love to bitch to us about using Windows
everywhere.  ;^)  However, they are few.

I have a few on-line elections (Student Govt Offices, Homecoming, etc.)
that are focused to the students.  I may give Flash forms a shot at
those.  I'm sure there are very few students who don't have Flash
players.

Well if its an intranet (a closed system) then you can have minimum
requirements. So why just just make Falsh Player 7 a minimum
requirement?
