We just moved from Website Professional 3.0 to IIS 6.0. IIS 5.0 was
horrible, but I can not say enough good things about IIS 6.0. Stable and
more secure out of the box...<CF KNOCK_ON_WOOD> ;-)

Went from Windows 2000 Server, WSP 3.0, and CF 5 to Windows 2003, IIS 6.0,
and CF MX. Difference like night and day...

Windows 2003. It's the safest and fastest by far, and IIS 6 is a great
product. The 2003 web server edition is cheap (sometimes dirt cheap,
sometimes even cheaper) but it has a limit of 2GB memory, which is ok
because Java can only use 1.6 or so.

Apache on windows... it's ok. I mean it's perfectly fine, but I wouldn't
recommend it over IIS6 if you're going to use windows anyway. YMMV,
especially if you're very familiar with Apache already, but I would just
go native and stick with it.
