I have an install where the coldfusion page is generated in 200-300ms
yet it is taking up to 10 seconds for it to arrive at the requesters
workstation. The total page is about 200k of info. The header for
the page pops almost instantly(maybe 1/3 to 1/2 a second later)...
however since the data come in a container table <table></table> it
does not display until it all arrives and is processed by the
workstation.

I know the memory on the workstation can affect this... and that is
being looked at. However, my question is... can IIS be tuned in any
way to have it feed data more or less quickly?

I am of course assuming that coldfusion gets the info to IIS web
server immediately.

Thanks for your insight,
Gonz
