This will access attributes in the FIELDS tag: <CFSET Root = #mydoc.XMLRoot.XMLChildren[1].XMLChildren[1].XMLChildren[1].XMLChildren[2].XMLattributes.SDE.DBO.SDE_VOIS_EVENT.EVENT_ID#>
I had to change the last XMLChildren[1] to XMLChildren[2] and that will access the FIELDS.
