Hello, I have a tab seperated file wich I'm reading in and I want to know if there is some way to force a value if one does not exists. So here is a example of what I have in some cases, I'll use \t as the tab char and \r as a return.
Charles \t Heizer \t cheizer \r \t Smith \t smith1 \r Tom \t \t tom1 \r I would like it to read ... Charles \t Heizer \t cheizer \r NA \t Smith \t smith1 \r Tom \t NA \t tom1 \r Can someone please clue me in on how to do this , if it's possible?
