I got my merchant account through payquake (no minimum transaction fees like many, though they have slightly higher rates and an "annual fee".. but for as little as I use credit cards, payquake works well. The processing goes through authorize.net, which I love dearly, for one major reason: No custom tag required. I like that I can just use CFHTTP to make my calls to authorize.net ..
