I've seen this error before and it happened when I had name conflicts in the
function.  For example, make sure you don't have
variables/query/array/structure naming conflicts.  Might not be the case for
you, but thought I'd throw it out there.

=========  This is bad  ===========
<cfquery name="foo">
SELECT this FROM that
</cfquery>

<cfset foo = "bar">
=========  This is bad  ===========

Also, make double sure that you're "VAR"ing your local variables.
