You mean you guys actually HAVE OTHER DEVELOPERS TO HELP YOU?!?!? That's the most unbelievable thing I've ever heard of.
When I've worked in teams, I've had a lot of success with a licensed dev server and either VSS or RCS. I often do development on my own machine though and push it up manually. I do this just because of random glitches on the network that sometimes cause files to disappear when working on them. A good source control solution probably would make working on each machine and uploading to one spot feasible when having several developers.
