hehe...no worries..reminds me of another misconception I had based on 
something long ago.  I think it was Barney B. that set me straight that CF 
is not case sensitive (like say Oracle).  I had all these <cfif UCase(MyVar) 
eq "A"> kinds of conditions all ove the place.  I think I started doing that 
for just the reason you mention (somebody said it was true).

It's just like someone telling you something when you're a little kid....20 
years later you still think it's true until someone laughs at ya...then you 
actually think about it and realize you've held this belief for so long 
without questioning it...and after re-examination you realize how stupid it 
was in the first place ;-)
