We have installed CF5.0 on a windows 2003 web edition server and found that
a tried and true custom File upload tag is no longer working. The tag will
upload a unique file name just fine but if a duplicate file is uploaded with
the makeunique qualifier we get an error. After a little debugging
(commenting out the CF error code) I have found that the error being given
is as follows:

Error attempting to generate temporary file name for directory
'c:\webs\movies\htdocs\images\files\lg'.
Error: An unspecified error occurred.

I am sure this is a windows permissions error of some kind and I am missing
something. The CF server has 'Local System' rights and I have even tried
running it with full administrator privileges but to no avail.

Has anyone seen this problem and found a solution?

Best Regards,
