Hello,
What I am trying to do is add a new item to a cfgrid, once an insert button
has been clicked.
The value that I am trying to insert into the grid is from a cfselect. The
code below inserts a new record into the cfgrid but
the value is missing. Can someone please assist me in what I am doing
wrong.

var tmp = {gridcolumn: select_item[select_item.selectedIndex].data};
GridName.dataProvider.addItem(tmp);
